RNB Global University Bikaner conducted a webinar for the MBA II Semester and BBA VI Semester HR students on Industrial Relations. The Resource Person was Mr. Ayush Vyas, Group Head - HR (TA & WFM) Fujitsu Consulting India. He is presently heading Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisitions and HR Analytics CoE for Fujitsu Consulting.
He discussed and deliberated on Industrial relations in which he briefed about the evolution of this concept during industrial era and traced its relevance to the present day business context. Through real case incidents he highlighted the changing paradigms of industrial relations as employee relations in today’s modern business world, role of labour laws and its impact on the management of the employees especially the more informed and aware ones, the ethical dilemmas the HR managers face while making a choice between welfare of employee on humane grounds and/or on the basis of following organizational policies and challenges of managing the employee relations which is based on “trust” of both the management and employees. He elicited students’ response to practical real life situations where in they had to make a decision; that could be right either ethically or legally! Thus the students understood the various facets of the employee- employer relations and its significance in an organization.
