Second Annual National Marketing Seminar on ““Branding in New Era: An Indian Perspective” was organized in which eminent speakers - Major General Dr. Shashi Kant Singh, Dr. Amandeep Singh Garai, Professor, Chitkara University, Punjab, Dr. R.K. Sharma, Associate Professor, Galgotia University,Mr. Amit Dave, Director, Ace Foundation, Ahmadabad, Dr. Pramod Srivastava, Associate Professor, Galgotia University and Mr. Naveen Singh Tanwar, Promoter and Director, Cowbells discussed on various issues pertaining to Branding. The program begin with lamp lightening ceremony by all the dignitaries along with Registrar Dr. Ghadoliya, Dean Dr. A.K. Mitra and faculty members.
The Seminar was divided into two sessions. In the first Session, Panel Moderator Mr. Mayank Agrawal, Assistant Professor, SOCM underlined the context and background of Challenges and Opportunities in branding in his opening remarks. Mr. Agrawal subsequently invited the panelists to discuss on the very sensitive issue like brand Development, sustainability and brand leverage in digital era. The discussion was then carried forward on various other issues like concept of Branding, Branding for Small Budget Business, Selection of Media, Budgetary allocation, Brand Building and Brand Sustainability, Branding in digital Age and role of creativity in branding.
In the second session Speakers expressed their views on various issues like Brand Practices in India, branding for rural markets and Small Budget enterprises and success stories on branding. Mr. Amit Dave conducted a workshop in the last session in which he shared tips with students for developing of successful brand.
It was a really great exposure for the students to get some meaningful insights about the Branding. The discussions offered chances to debate issues related to the field, share experiences and exchange perspectives. This seminar motivated students to pursue their goals and find their enthusiasm rekindled.
