Students of School of Law, RNB Global University visited the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur on 7th, 8th and 9th March 2019. The students were accompanied by Mr. Ashok Prem, Assistant professor at School of Law. The visit was permitted by the Registrar of the High Court Bench.
The day started with a brief note given to the students about the court and court rooms by a practicing lawyer at High Court of Rajasthan. He guided all the students and dictated the Jurisdiction of the High Court Bench. He explained about Division bench which consist of 2 Judges and single bench consists of 1 Judge. The students were divided in six groups and each group was allowed to visit separate court room. They visited court number 11 to 16. In court room no 11 there was an argument between the lawyer and the Hon’ble Justices. The case was related to the merit list of Rajasthan Administration services examination. Then the students moved to court number 12 where criminal proceedings where going on regarding the bail of an accused person who was accused of committing murder. Further the group moved to Court number 13 where issues related to divorce were.
After visiting various court rooms gaining immense insight in the world of litigation on second day the students accompanied by Adv. Aniket Vyas visited the Hon’ble High Court library. The visit came to an end in the evening with a thanks giving note to Advocate Aniket Vyas for enlightening the students about the original and appellate jurisdiction of High court.
On third day students visited various historical and amusement places of Jaipur like Nahargarh Biological Park, Lion-Safari, Aamer Fort,Narhargarh fort, Jal Mahal, Hawamahal, Moti Dumgri Ganesh G temple, Birla Temple, Albert Hall & Ramnivas Baag, and world trade park.
Being an infant among the law fraternity of the country, the School of Law is optimistic to repeat such type of learning programme for its learners by learning from the mistakes and screening the positives out of negatives with an eye t giving birth to a ‘learned community’ having a point of their learning in RNB Global University, Bikaner, Rajasthan.
